The number-59 McLaren F1 GTR won the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans with Yannick Dalmas, Masanori Sekiya and JJ Lehto. It was McLaren’s first attempt at the race and the GTR’s first season—a road-car-derived machine beating purpose-built prototypes in prolonged rain.
The garment
An everyday cotton tee with a loose cut and dropped shoulders. The enzyme-washed finish softens the look, while 250 gsm fabric gives it a substantial feel without the weight of a sweatshirt. Easy to wear on its own or under a layer.
